Colour: Ruby red. Aroma: The Sangiovese grapes at the Santedame Estate always distinguish themselves by a fantastic, fragrant, fruity character which adds an almost aromatic character to the bouquet: Small red and black berry fruits, violets, ripe plums, white pepper grains, toasted coffee and plain chocolate notes intertwine, leading to an elegant, refined finish. Tasting Profile: The Santedame Chianti Classico 2005 is medium-bodied and smooth with elegant, soft fruity notes. The tannins are velvety and well integrated in the fruity core. The after taste is long lingering and characterised by notes of strawberry pie and cherry jam.
